Kathy Fitzgerald I fell in love with collage art many years ago. My primary focus is mixed media collage art and
my artist palette consist of torn pieces of hand painted papers, maps, doilies, sheet music and text from books. I sometimes add an inspirational message or humorous quote.
A small guitar is also placed in every collage I create. Sometimes it is easy to spot and at other times it is hidden among the layers. It is in memory of my son who played the guitar and loved music.
I love to create art that is both colorful and whimsical and hope my paintings inspire others to explore the beauty of collage.
